Summer is here and you know that means one things: Grilling Season!

But how to make the perfect roast? The perfect mix of tenderness and juiciness? If you’re not as experienced on the BBQ, then a bluetooth thermometer is a great way to keep track of your deliciousness, without always standing in front of the grill.

iDevices released their iGrill2 Bluetooth Thermometer to keep track of more than one temperature at once. It comes in at 2.7 x 8.8 x 8.5”, and it weighs 12 ounces. Two pro-level meat probes are included, but you can always order additional probes. The two probes are designed in such a way that higher heat and steam temperatures can be effectively resisted. With the use of preset/custom alarms, the temperature can be freely adjusted to the owner’s liking.

The temperature can range from -22°F to 572°F. The device has a 200-hour battery life, with a 150-foot smart range. In order to survey the progression of the temperature, the device has been made with magnetic mounting and an illuminated display. This product is compatible with just about all Bluetooth Smart Ready Android devices running 4.3 or above, along with iOS devices (including iPhone 4S+, IPad mini, iPad 3+, and Ipod Touch 5+).

The setup is pleasingly easy to undergo. Simply begin by downloading the product’s application to your Bluetooth-enabled device. While the application is downloading, you can already place two AA batteries into the iGrill 2 base. After the app has been downloaded, you will finally be able to begin testing the product. In order to turn the device on and off, you have to press and hold down the power button. Pressing the button down only once will not turn the device on or off. Immediately upon powering on the iGrill2, you’ll be prompted with the question of whether or not it was okay for the application to pair with your phone. After the unit and your device are paired, you can start to test the system for its roasting capabilities.

Stick the the probe into the meat and specified the desired temperature by selecting the type of meat and cooking thoroughness. Easy peasy.

Please keep in mind, that the base itself is not resistant to water. Because the base is not resistant to water, it would be in your best interest not to use it solely in damp weather.

The iGrill2 can be purchased for roughly 99.00$ on Amazon. Make sure to check out all the reviews to get a better grasp on the product.
